The Department of Gynecology was founded in 1976 in the Tashkent State Medical Institute in the first clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy and was located in the 8th building on the 2nd floor, since 1980 the Department of Gynecology began to function in the 6th building on the 5th floor. The Department of Gynecology provides assistance :

- Bleeding before 22 weeks of pregnancy
- Pathology of extragenital diseases during exacerbation
- Ectopic pregnancy
- Diseases not related to pregnancy:
- Abnormal uterine bleeding (reproductive and pre-postmenopausal age)
- Pelvic inflammatory diseases during exacerbation
- Injuries of external and internal female genital organs
- Violation of the function of organs in uterine fibroids and cystic diseases of the uterine appendages, or violation of the function of the pelvic organs
- Bleeding into the abdominal cavity is associated with diseases of the internal genital organs.
